Lufuno Tshivhase / Presenter

A media industry was never an accident nor by chance for Lufuno, better known as “LGT”.
Breaking Barries is her sincere expertise. Humor best describes this beacon of
inspiration, fearless, brave ,resilient, determined and unflappable lady .She first joined the
SABC as an on air presenter for an educational programme “Be Financially Smart” .
In 2006 just under three months of getting her big break at the SABC ,she was then afforded
an opportunity to Produce and Present a current affairs show “Ndevhetsini” under which
she worked for close to 20 years having done her last show on air on the 14th of MARCH
2025 when she transitioned to join PHALA-PHALA FM as a presenter for the Mid-Day Talk
Show (12H00-15H00)Monday to Friday .”an opportunity ill forever be grateful for”
-In her Career she interacted with the who’s who of the media
industry, politicians, influencers and many other prominent people in and outside of the
Industry .”The 2007 ANC NATIONAL ELECTIVE CONFERENCE which was held at the
University of Limpopo was the Highlight of my Career “.
Lufuno as she is fondly known within her circle and colleagues had a privilege of covering
all the South African National ,Provincial and Local Government Elections since
2006.Close to 20 years in the Industry was fairly an opportunity to meet and make
associations with the News Makers and people in Government to a point where she no
longer has to introduce herself .

2025 A YEAR OF BREAKTHROUGH
The year 2025 started just like any other year for Lufuno, little did she know it will be
a year of a big break in the industry .An opportunity she has always dreamt of
(hosting a Talk Show ) on Phalaphala FM .
-So far so good and what matters now is to keep on dreaming and spreading wide
my wings ,open for challenges .The industry still calls my name .
