Program:

Day1 Tuesday 03/October : Ben Gurion Airport – Tel aviv

Arrive to Ben Gurion Airport, meet Nazarene Tours representative, assist with formalities, then drive to your hotel in Tel Aviv, check in to your hotel

Day2 Wednesday 04/October: Jaffa – Tel Aviv - Caesarea –– Acre – Nazareth  

After breakfast drive to Jaffa, Begin your day with a brief walking tour through the Old Town of Jaffa, an ancient port in the south of Tel Aviv. According to the story, this was where the prophet Jonah started the journey that left him in the belly of a whale, and where Andromeda was tied to a rock as a sacrifice to a sea monster, before being saved by Perseus. This afternoon, your Tour Director will introduce you to Tel Aviv, the first Hebrew city. Take in the city’s trademark Bauhaus architecture, with stops at Rabin Square and Rothschild Boulevard, one of Tel Aviv’s most picturesque avenues. Your next stop is the White City, a UNESCO World Heritage site, so named for its 4,000 buildings built in the Bauhaus and International styles.

Drive through the Coastal road to Caesarea the city of Herod's, where you will visit the ruins of the Roman Theatre and the Crusaders City. (Second group arrives to Ben Gurion Airport, meet Nazarene Tours representative, and assist with formalities, then drive to catch up with the group in Acre) then drive to Acre to see the Crusader Halls. Walk through the old city to see the Oriental Market and the port. Drive to your hotel in Nazareth. dinner and overnight stay in Nazareth.

Day3 Thursday 05/October: Sea of Gailee –Baptismal site - Mt. Tabor 

Breakfast at the hotel, and then head out to visit The Mount of Beatitudes – where the ceremony of the mount took place, next we visit the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish. The journey continues along the coast of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ Galilean ministry. Afterwards enjoy an unforgettable boat ride in the Sea of Galilee and pay a visit to kibbutz Ginosar to see the Ancient Boat museum. In the afternoon, visit “Yardenit” the Jordan River Baptismal site, Drive back to your hotel in Nazareth but not before stopping to visit Mount Tabor, the tradition identifies the mountain where Jesus' Transfiguration occurred.., Back to your hotel in Nazareth for Dinner and overnight.

Day4 Friday 06/October: Nazareth – Megiddo – Mt. Carmel -  Jerusalem

Nazareth – Visit the city of Jesus, with the *Basilica of Annunciation and the Well of the Virgin Mary.  Next drive to Cana – Where Jesus performed his first Miracle at a wedding feast, turning water to wine. Drive to Megiddo (Armageddon), where the last great battle on earth will take place, preserved by the National Parks Authority, Head towards Haifa where we drive past the Persian Gardens accentuated by the golden dome of the Bahai Shrine and continue along Mt. Carmel, visit the Monastery of the Prophet Elijah (Muhraka). Drive to your hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Day5 Saturday 07/October: Jerusalem Mt. of Olives – Mt. Zion

After breakfast, drive to the Mount of Olives, where you can enjoy the spectacular view over the holy City.  Visit the Pater Noster Church and the Church of Ascension; from there we descend to Josaphat Valley, visit the Chapel of Dominus Flevit, the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations.  We then drive to Mount Zion to visit the Cenacle (The Last Supper room), King David's Tomb and the Dormition Abbey. Later, we visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day6 – Sunday 08/October: Qumran –Masada – Dead Sea – Jericho

Leave Jerusalem (over 800 meters above sea level) down to the Dead Sea (420 meters below sea level) within just half an hours drive.  We will visit Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.  Then we will ascend by cable car to the top of the Massada Fortress – the last resistance place against the Romans and learn its heroic story.  Return to the Dead Sea for a floating experience and back to Jerusalem passing by Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day7 – Monday 09/October: Jerusalem Old City - Bethlehem

After breakfast, weenter the Old City through the the Dung gate. Explore the Western Wall, ascend the Temple Mount and visit the Dome of the Rock. Continue with a walking tour of the Old City that includes the Via Dolorosa, Pools of Bethesda, Ecco Homo Arch, Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and the Oriental Market. Next Drive to Bethlehem, the Church of the Nativity, and Manger Square, as well as Shepherd’s Field at nearby Beit Sahour, where the “Good News” was first heard. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day8 – Tuesday 10/October: Yad Vashem – Israel Museum – Ein Karem

After We drive via the western new city of Jerusalem, observe the Hebrew University, the Parliament House and The Supreme Court. We will visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum, next visit the Israel Museum that exhibit artifacts from archeological excavations found throughout Israel, we will also visit the Shrine of the Book where the scrolls of the Dead Sea are displayed. Drive on to Ein Karem to visit the original Church of Visitation – where the meeting between Elizabeth and Mary took Place and the Church of St. John the Baptist.

**Late Farewell Lunch at Local restaurant for all group members.

1st group will transfer to the airport for their departure flight

2nd group will transfer to their hotel in Tel Aviv.

Day9 – Wednesday 11/October: Second departure
